Our professional equipped polymer extrusion line gives us the ability to produce filaments in a high precision way. For recycling materials and to modify the material properties we do our own compounds.
For further applications and on specific customer request, we use our know-how in plastic material sciences to develop new formulations who fit the requested material properties.
In our test lab, all filaments get tested first on different 3D printers. To figure out the best printer setup several objects get printed unsing different process parameters.

We develop, produce and optimize filaments for 3D printing in Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF). Our aim is to deliver high-quality materials with good properties and high processability, to realize the applications of our customers.
IWK is a well established research institute with proven skills in materials technology and plastics processing. The engineers have varied experience in material development and process technology. A modern machinery and well equipped labs enables the development of new applications.
For manufacturing of our recycling filament CREAMELT® TPU-R, we work together with ARGO workplace for people with disabilities in Davos. There old ski boots get collected, chemical analysed and color sorted, manually disassembled and crushed in a shredder. The grinding stock gets remelted and regranulated at IWK before a new filament is extruded.
The high-grade feedstock for our other filaments we purchase in a network of international raw-material supplier.
