3. Visiting Our Website

This data is processed in particular to provide the website technically, to ensure its security and stability, and to identify technical errors.

We currently do not use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager to analyse visitor behaviour.

5. Webshop and Orders

We use WooCommerce to operate our webshop. When you place an order, we process the personal data required to fulfil the order. This may include, in particular, your name and contact details, billing and shipping address, email address, products ordered, and order and invoice information.

We use this data in particular to process your order, issue invoices, communicate with you, deliver the products ordered and comply with statutory retention obligations.

6. Customer Account

If you create a customer account, the data required for this purpose is stored so that the customer account and associated orders can be managed.

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory or operational retention obligations. Order, contractual and invoice data may therefore continue to be retained after a customer account has been terminated.

7. Payment

Payment for orders is currently made by invoice or bank transfer. No external online payment service such as PayPal or a credit card payment service is currently integrated into the payment process on our website.

Accordingly, no credit card or PayPal payment data is processed through our website as part of the ordering process.

8. Shipping

To fulfil an order, the personal data required for shipping may be disclosed to transport and shipping service providers.

For international shipments, we use FedEx in particular. This may involve the transfer of your name, delivery address, contact details and information required for shipping and, where applicable, customs clearance.

Data is disclosed only to the extent necessary to carry out the delivery and, where applicable, customs clearance.

9. Newsletter

A newsletter function is available on our website. However, the currently installed Mailchimp integration is not actively connected to a Mailchimp account. Therefore, no newsletter registration data is currently transmitted to Mailchimp through this integration.

If an external newsletter service is used again in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

10. Cookies and Technically Necessary Functions

Our website and webshop use cookies or comparable technologies where necessary for the technical operation of the website and the provision of certain functions.

In particular, the webshop uses technically necessary information to provide functions such as the shopping cart, checkout process and user sessions.
